About Virginia TimeTravelers

Here's How It Works:
Students, take a passport with you when you tour TimeTravelers museums and historic sites between February 1st and December 1st, 2008. When you have stamps from six different sites, mail a photocopy of your passport showing your stamps and your name and address to:

TimeTravelers, c/o VAM

Richmond, VA, 23219

We will then mail you a certificate signed by Governor Tim Kaine making you an official TimeTraveler.

If you are ordering a 2008 TimeTravelers T-shirt, please remember to include a check or money order for $10 per shirt made payable to TimeTravelers. (This helps pay for the printing and shipping costs.) Allow 6-8 weeks for delivery.

Remember to keep your original passport with your collection of unique stamps from the places you visit. We cannot return passports.

Special Events
In addition to more than 300 museums and historic sites, you can also have your passport stamped at many family-oriented special events throughout the state. These events qualify as a TimeTravelers visit.

Earn your Free 2008 Patch!
Music has always been a part of Virginia’s heritage—from pow wow drummers to gospel singers to bluegrass festivals. TimeTravelers invites you to learn more about Virginia’s musical roots by visiting at least 2 museums that are marked with this symbol on the destinations lists. Become a Master Traveler
Visit more than six sites and get a special seal on your certificate making you a Master Traveler. Just pick up an extra passport or download a passport now to keep track of your extra visits. Last year more than 800 children became Master Travelers. Wouldn't you like to be one too?
